Angelita specializes in working with children, tweens, and teens to build self-efficacy and healthy coping skills. She works with individuals and families to strengthen communication and healing so that they can better support one and other. She helps clients explore their experiences with anxiety, depression, and trauma through an eclectic approach including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), humanistic psychology, play and art. She also provides support for a student success program at a local community college where she assists in a program for first generation college students. She has completed her Master’s Degree in Marriage, Child and Family Counseling at Palo Alto University She is supervised by Toni Ratzburg.
When not in the office, Angelita enjoys spending time with her family, soulmate, dogs (Bear, Dozer, and Duke), Hawaiian Outrigger, and running.
