Gina Garcia
Lead Therapist
Marriage & Family Therapist #118696

Gina specializes in working with tweens, teens, parents and young adults.  In the past six years, she has served in various settings providing individual, parent, and group therapies, as well as crisis intervention. This includes her work at a public school, as well as a private school for gifted and twice-exceptional adolescents. Gina also has also served as a therapist within an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) where she ran parent//teen groups, and was a certified sexual assault counselor for a local nonprofit. It is through these experiences that she has learned the importance of creating a safe, supportive space that promotes healing and empowers others to explore their inherent strengths. Gina holds a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology from Palo Alto University.

Gina is excited to be apart of Beacon’s team as a lead therapist and supervisor in the Redwood City offices.

Outside of doing the work she loves, Gina enjoys spending time with loved ones (especially her three nephews), being outdoors, and baking!
