ANISHA SINGH
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #145707

Anisha specializes in working with children, teens and young adults with a specific focus on working with anxiety, depression, ADHD and adjustment disorder. Anisha believes in the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship with her clients. She works collaboratively while providing a secure space for clients to process their feelings and grow. She is experienced in crisis management and enjoys integrating play and humor into her sessions. Anisha’s approach is eclectic and incorporates elements of trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy (TCBT), somatic, narrative, humanistic and person-centered approaches through a multicultural and strengths-based lens. In addition, she has experience working 1:1 supporting autistic children and teens. Anisha has worked, among other places, as an onsite therapist for middle and high school in the East Bay which informs her collaborative approach and understanding of the unique challenges students face.  She holds a Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy & Clinical Counseling from Saint Mary’s College.

 

When not in the office, Anisha likes to spend time with friends and family, go wine tasting in Napa, and watch reality tv. Anisha enjoys reading young adult fiction novels and has recently taken up kickboxing!
